Blogs that matters

Have you ever looked in the mirror and thought, “Wait… what is this?” Hi everyone! I was supposed to talk about serious stuff like geography, history, or literature, but today we are diving into something way more exciting-my skin saga!

Everyone dreams of having that perfect glass skin, and I actually had it once. For real! But then my skin decided to go on a rollercoaster ride, and things got… interesting.

A year or two ago, my skin was normal and healthy. I never had any problems. But as I gained weight, my skin started to change. It first became oily, then turned very dry. When my skin began peeling, I visited a doctor who told me that I have combination skin.

For almost a year, I used the medicines and tried many products. Nothing really worked. My forehead stayed dry and tanned, my cheeks were oily, and my nose felt sensitive all the time.

I realized my skin problems were not just about products. They were connected to stress, anxiety, and weight gain. So, I stopped using everything and focused on my health and peace of mind. I started eating better, resting more, and keeping calm.

During this time, I used only two things on my face: glycerine and water. To my surprise, they worked like magic. I even mixed them to make a DIY night toner. My skin felt soft, fresh, and natural again. Rosewater never suited me, but if it works for you, go for it! I also started drinking lots of water from my 2500ml aesthetic bottle from Dmart, and staying hydrated gave my skin an extra glow from the inside.

Now, I have learned to accept my skin the way it is. It may not be perfect, but it feels healthy and real. Sometimes, the simplest care and a calm mind bring the biggest changes.

The journey taught me that skincare is not just about fancy products or trends. Stress, anxiety, and lifestyle can also affect your skin more than you realize. Sometimes, less really is more. Listening to your skin, being patient, and taking care of yourself from the inside out can make the biggest difference. Self-love, in the end, is the best beauty routine of all.
